Third Coast Training is a private sport science organization specializing in testing and training endurance and multisport athletes and fitness enthusiasts of all levels.  The cornerstone of Third Coast Training is the Human Performance Laboratory.  We strive to be a leader in providing the latest in  human performance services to individuals of all abilities through direct physiological assessments.

We have the tools to map out what your needs are.  In short, we're here to help you eliminate the frustration, guesswork, junk mileage, and get you on the path to achieving your goals whether it be weight loss, fitness, or athletic performance.

I  began back in 2003 as a full time coach, fitness consultant,  and metabolic specialist working with competitive cyclist, marathon runners, and triathletes in a multisport training center near the Greenway Plaza area in Houston, Texas. I'm confident you'll find our assessments and consultations are second to none.

Our objective is to exceed your expectations and help you train smarter not harder by knowing how your body responds to exercise.  You're always welcomed to call or email me whenever you have a question. We don't put limitations on how often our clients can contact us. We understand this (performance testing) may be a new way of training for you and we desire for you to use these valuable tools. When you win by achieving your goals we win and we have a lot of winners.  Our business thrives on referrals and we treat each athlete with care.

With our online scheduler we don't have to worry about double bookings and when you come in we're ready to get you dialed in. 

We do provide coaching services but if you have a coach don't despair. We're not looking to compete with your coach for your business. We encourage you to share your findings (test results) with your coach. We work with many coaches and teams to help keep their clients healthy and engaged in the sport. Again when you're doing well and achieving your goals we all win. We help you identify the areas that need development and build your training zones based on your personal fitness assessment. Your coach whether it be you, Third Coast Training, or a fitness professional can then use your training zones to design your custom training plan to improve your fitness status and prepare you for your upcoming event(s).

With that being said the majority of the individuals we see do not race but are fitness enthusiast looking to lose weight or simply train smarter to make the most of their training sessions. We look forward to meeting you and if you have questions don't hesitate to call.
