We have a variety of options that will get you on the path to understanding how your body responds to exercise and the data you need to make adjustments to your training regimen to maximize your performance. Each assessment includes a consultation so you can understand your results and what it means to you. With periodic assessments you'll see the impact of your efforts. 

Our basic testing package will tell you the heart rate where you reach your anaerobic threshold.It will also tell you all about your Aerobic base, how wide your base is and how aerobically efficient you are as well as the exact amount of calories you need to consume to fuel up for your training and sport.

With this valuable information and correct training regime your body will make adaptations which will improve your aerobic capacity and efficiency, help move your anaerobic threshold higher and train your body to burn fat as a preferred fuel.

With an efficient aerobic base and improved anaerobic threshold your body will be performing under less stress, and at the times you do work above your threshold your body will recover quicker.This will be noticeable for intermittent sports like tennis, soccer, and basketball where you have to quickly accelerate to stay in play and when the play is over or the pace is brought back down you'll need to recover as quickly as possible. Otherwise you'll find yourself ventilating (breathing heavy), falling behind, making mistakes, fatigued, feeling of running out of gas, and discouraged. If gold is your game, you'll soon find as your game progresses your putting game go south as you lose your fine motor control due o elevated levels of lactate in your bloodstream. With an improved aerobic base you'll recover quicker and watch your game improve.

If too much of your training or time in the game is spent at or above your threshold you may find your fitness level plateaus or may even decrease, the metabolic profile will help you prevent the negative effects of over training or to many events.Understand your current fitness status and set your training priorities to improve your game.
